SongHunt 2017 finalist presentation: “Wild Child” by Ace Wilder
Ace Wilder could be in Kyiv now, representing Sweden with her song “Wild Child”. But our SongHunt rules only allow songs that didn’t win their national finals, but got a lot of love in our Eurovision chat. This love took the song to the heats, the quarter-finals, the semi-finals, and now it’s one of the twelve candidates in the grand SongHunt final. What is SongHunt about, you may wonder? Well, for those who don’t know already: It’s about finding the best national final song of the Eurovision season!
From Melodifestivalen to SongHunt
Back in March, “Wild Child” was one of many Melodifestivalen entries to reach the SongHunt heats, and now it’s in the final – together with four other Swedish entries: Roger Pontare’s “Himmel och hav”, Wiktoria’s “As I Lay Me Down”, Nano’s “Hold On” and Loreen’s “Statements”. But now, it’s time to focus on:
