This week, many of our colleagues from other ESC fan sites are in Sofia, blogging intensively about the preparations for the Junior Eurovision Song Contest this Saturday night.
Here at escgo!, we are not. In fact, we deliberately haven’t listened to any of the songs from JESC 2015 yet, preferring to encounter them “fresh” during the show itself.
But let us make one thing perfectly clear: we love JESC. From buzzing bees to magic rabbits, from Harry Potter to horses made of sand, from Tantsui to twins, twins and even more twins (well, sort of), the children’s accompaniment to the Eurovision Song Contest has consistently delivered many happy and ridiculous memories over the years.
So come and join us in our chat at 19:30 CET this Saturday, where we’ll be following the competition on television or via the webcast, chatting about the entries as they happen, giving our scores after each song, and enjoying the evening right through until it’s… Game Over.
