Moldovan broadcaster TRM has announced the dates for the Moldovan preselection 2015. The format that will decide the Moldovan entry for Vienna will begin with an open selection round for all international singers (application closes on 15 December). Afterwards, a jury will first narrow the applicants down to 60, and then to 24 semi-finalists. Finally, the Moldovan search for their 2015 entry will climax in two semi-finals (12 participants, each) and a grand final on the following dates:
Tuesday, 24 February: Semi-final 1
Thursday, 26 February: Semi-final 2
Saturday, 28 February: Final
At ESC 2014 in Copenhagen, Moldova’s Cristina Scarlat and her song “Wild Soul” missed qualification for the final.
