When it came to getting the drinks in for this year’s Eurovision week, a thought suddenly occurred to me: Given that my regular webshop for alcohol-free beers, DryDrinker, has such a wide range of products on its virtual shelves, what if I assembled a case of 12 different drinks from 12 different Eurovision participant countries? Must be possible, right?
Even with all of their Dutch beers being sold out (and the Russian ones being unavailable for fairly obvious reasons), it was possible – and I didn’t even have to resort to an Australian ale to complete the set, either!

And since a man cannot live on ≤0.5% beer alone, I also paid a visit to Antonio Delicatessen in Lewisham to stock up on my very favourite alcohol-free treat from this year’s host country:
Now I’m prepared for every eventuality. Including a chaotic six-hour Grand Final with an unscheduled appearance from Toto Cutugno in the middle of the voting sequence. Cheers! 🥂
