Last night, these ten countries have qualified for the final of the Eurovision Song Contest 2014:
- Malta
- Norway
- Poland
- Austria
- Finland
- Belarus
- Switzerland
- Greece
- Slovenia
- Romania
esc-chat.com’s prediction was nearly correct
Before the show, we published our prediction (click here), in which we have listed our sure qualifiers, likely qualifiers and borderline qualifiers, based on how many members of our team have included the specific country in their individual prediction.
We got nearly all “sure qualifiers” right – only Israel failed to reach the final. However, our borderline qualifier, Slovenia, actually made it! All other “sure” and “likely” qualifiers reached the final as well.
ChatVote favourite misses the final for the first time ever!
From the Top 10 of the ChatVote 2014, Norway and Greece qualified tonight. However, the winner of the 10th ChatVote – Israel – is our first winner that didn’t reach the final at Eurovision (read up the ChatVote history here)!
Over 50 people in the chat
Again, there were over 50 people in the chat at times. If you were around and enjoyed it, you’re welcome back at whatever time, though usually the chat is the most lively in the nights!
