Following two nights of preview video viewing, live voting and opening of virtual envelopes in our chatroom, the semi-final qualifiers that will compete in the ChatVote 2022 final are now known.

Once again, we decided to shake things up by making the automatic finalists earn their place in the final! Two of them competed in the first semi-final, and the remaining three in the second semi-final. We sent 12 songs through from each semi for a total of 24 songs in our grand final. The qualifiers were:

Semi 1 qualifiers: Albania, Lithuania, Ukraine, Netherlands, Portugal, Austria, Iceland, Greece, Norway, Armenia, France, Italy.

Semi 2 qualifiers: Finland, Serbia, Georgia, Malta, Cyprus, Estonia, Poland, Montenegro, Sweden, Spain, United Kingdom, Germany.

Big thanks to everyone who attended and voted! And this means the lines are now open for you to send us your final votes. Those are the votes that you will get to read out as usual, live in #esc during the grand final, which begins at 21:00 CEST on Sunday 24 April.

Simply send your votes in ESC style (12, 10, 8…) to vote@escgo.com by no later than 23:59 CEST on Saturday 23 April. Please note that we can only accept votes from people we know to be #esc chatters, so do include your chat nickname in your e-mail in case of any doubt. Do check your e-mail for confirmation and get in touch with us if you don’t hear back from us about your votes!

You can see the full list of finalists below. For now they’re shown in alphabetical order, but the “producers” will soon be randomly assigning the finalists to the first and second halves of the show and determining the draw order, which we will use when we watch our grand final in the #esc chat on the evening of Saturday 23 April (starting at 21:00 CEST as usual). Please do join us for that if you can – especially if you haven’t made up your mind yet and need one last run-through to help you!
