ESC 2022: Semi-final running orders revealed!

by | Mar 29, 2022 | 2022 ESC General, Eurovision, Featured | 1 comment

Going on the (entirely correct) supposition that we Eurovision fans love a bit of drama, the European Broadcasting Union today announced the running order for the semi-finals of the 2022 contest in two separate YouTube reveals featuring a video recap of each show’s songs. A nice touch!

The first semi-final on Tuesday 10 May will be opened by Ronela Hajati from Albania with “Sekret”, while the final song in the running order is “Snap” by Rosa Linn, the Armenian entry. Ukraine, the country presumably most likely to have to use their live-on-tape performance in light of current circumstances (although of course we firmly hope they will be in Turin), have been placed 6th.

You can see the full running order in the official reveal here:

The second semi-final on Thursday 12 May will kick off with some rock as The Rasmus from Finland perform “Jezebel”. We Are Domi from the Czech Republic will turn the “Lights Off” at the close of proceedings.

Once again, the full running order is right here:

And if you don’t want to watch the videos, here’s an easy overview courtesy of eurovision.tv:

We’ll be using these running orders when we launch into our annual Line-Up Check review series very soon. Stay tuned!
